Well there is no law or provision saying that we have to pay our dues this way. Credit card applications caused by joining the NALC !!

I get about 2 or 3 postal credit card applications a week since joining our union 2 years ago!! Why did the NALC give these people and others our addresses????

Mutual Transfer

I am currently involved in a mutual transfer and waiting for final approval. I am wondering if it is approved who will set the date for the actual transfer. Me and the person that I am swapping with or management? The reason that I am asking is that there is a conflict in what date we actually wish to transfer. Any info would be appreciated.

im a unassigned regular carrier currently without a hold down i have not been on a hold down for 4 weeks i am never givien off a weekend, only tues weds or thursdays and differnt from week to week. is this what happens to uassigned regulars one stward told me yes. 3 others say no. i cant find anything about this in our agreement. thanks

NALC's Route Adjustment Proposal

I'm wondering what letter carriers think of NALC's new route adjustment proposal. It seems that the USPS would never buy into a system that would adjust routes based on a carrier's average street times. It seems that many carriers would pace themselves to gain shorter routes, because there is nothing to gain except harder work by moving faster. (Even the faster carriers now would start pacing themselves.) Perhaps this stance is a ploy by Young to get the Postal Service's attention so that the...
