Just wondering for other area's of the country is it a new postal policy to make ptfs work 6 days a week indefinately when i was a casual the ptfs where i worked seems to have a fairly regular scheadule and two days off most of the time. Its bad enough we get stuck with the holiday work but six days a week really grates on the nerves after a year with no end in site. If its different in other area's mabe a tranfer out of my district would help. dont get me wrong I understood that when i was...

Hi everyone,

I'm a PTF clerk and an OWCP case. Up until now, I have been getting 8 hrs (sometimes a few minutes more) a day for 5 days a week. This week, my supervisor scheduled me for 6 days because I'm a PTF (even though I'm Limited Duty). I like a little overtime but don't know if I can handle that much. I've also heard I'll be the one to get in trouble if I work that much. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

I am a PTF clerk in an EAS-16 office and have a rural carrier that has been on sick leave and most recently LWOP because of an OTJ injury (shoulder injury resulting in surgery) that happened 8 mths ago (11/05). He has now been brought back into the office on "limited duty" status 4 hrs/day M-F. He has been performing tasks that I would normally do. Thus far I have not lost any hrs but feel like I will because he has accomplished these projects. He has restrictions such as: can not...
