I am an Rca on a regular route, and my PM is going to hire a new rca to sub for the Rca who is assigned to an auxillary route. She asked me if I would like to move to this position and sub for the other Rca on the auxillary because she knew that I am not happy on the very large route that I'm on. I am considering doing this, but am concerned that this could affect my seniority and ability to get the next auxillary route or regular route. I work with a postmaster in a EAS-16 office and she's stated that she gets 4 hrs. of personal leave a day...and uses that to her advantage daily. She never has worked 40 hrs. a week since she's become a PM over two years ago. She arrives late 75% of the time in the mornings and then works about 4-6 hrs. a day and leaves. When someone from District calls, I've been told to not tell them that she's taken the rest of the day off. I don't know why...

I am looking at some postmaster openings in my area -- specifically, an EAS-11 and an EAS-13.
